Couple: Moira & Garet
Venue: Lake Tapps private residence
Seattle Wedding Photographer: John Crozier
This was the DIY wedding of the year for me. I know for certain that Moira had way too much fun designing and crafting all the details for this really fun and entertaining day. I really had a good time shooting this couples big day. It was very cool for me to see how much in love Garet and Moira are. I’ve known Moira since we both were in diapers so this one was pretty personal for me. Moira and Garet tied the knot on the lakefront property of Garet’s parents. There was no detail to small to not be included in this wedding. From color coordinated fabric place cards and napkins, to personalized initialed beads, to dahlias planted to match the wedding colors. Everything had Moira’s touch on it (literally). I’m sure Garet helped too :-). Tash got to shoot with me on this one which seemed appropriate since she roomed with Moira in College. Some highlights from the day were definitely the crepe truck, which was AWESOME. But you can’t top that Moira, Garet and their friends all jumped into the lake to conclude the night. I am sure that will be a memorable moment for all of them for years to come. Thanks Moira and Garet for letting me be a part of your awesome day.
Fabric coordinated tags matched napkins on table. I love a good Chinese lanternrandom shed with moss on it, cool photo, check!about as hipster as I get!Beautiful Moira. There was a nice woodsy area on the property which I loved. The neighbors dock which they let us borrow. I love the clouds that day. shadows Also the neighbors tree. They had cool neighbors. I loved that they planted orange dahlias to match the wedding colors. This sign was cool. We drove off for a couple minutes and found this field. And this path. And this small section of beach. The nieces and nephews of Moira all wore custom matching dresses and jumpers.I thought the decorations were really festive and turned out great. cutenessa good shot of the propertyYEAH!Loved the food truck. Favorite meal of the summer. . . maybe!Highly processed shot of the mountain. It was pretty hazy, I wish it was out more. I wanted to jump in so bad, the water looked amazing. These guys! Every wedding needs a few. Shoes optional. Then this happened. Followed by this! So sweet I stayed extra just to get this shot. So happy for you two. Vendors that help make this day special.
