Way back in September Tash and I shot Danae and Colin’s wedding at the Hollywood Schoolhouse. Danae is an old friend and I was honored to shoot her wedding. I truly enjoyed getting to know Colin as well. I think they make a dashing couple! Danae and Colin started their day at a rental house just up the road in Woodinville. On this particular day the weather was not cooperating. It was a weekend of record setting rain fall. Some how we managed to fit in 10 minutes of outdoor portraits during the brief hiatus from the rain. I love the bridal party shot at Willows Lodge, the wind swept hair on the brides maids makes me laugh. Hollywood schoolhouse was the perfect venue for this wedding. The naturally antique feel of the schoolhouse fit Danae and Colin’s style very well.
Somehow we found a 10 minute break in the weather so I could shoot at this hedge that I found.
I love a good make up shot.
beautiful glowing dress. The getting ready shots are always some of my favorites. So many emotions present at this part of the day. The rain started up right in the middle of our session. Luckily I always carry umbrellas. Who doesn’t like an umbrella shot? The wedding party getting blown away. The insides of the schoolhouse were great for photos as well. This one is named “Family Business”Staircases are my favorite. I loved Danae’s dress. The details at this wedding were really fun and set a great mood for the evening. Maybe one of my favorite shots from the wedding. I love the way flower girls get around brides. So cute. I think they like each other. First kiss! Many a pork bellies were traded whilst their shoes where shined. Peach table decorations. Mom and Dad watch the toasts. I love capturing these moments. Best man. These are the shots I hope they look back on in 10 years and remember how they were feeling this day, at this moment. These two pulled out some serious moves. Loved it. Hope you guys like this post.
