This was a super fun maternity shoot I did with my good friends Ken and Lacey Powell. Ken and and Lacey had just been to their ultrasound to determine the gender of their little baby. They were keeping the gender secret until the next night where they arrange to find out along with a bunch of friends. I really thought their idea was unique and fun. They sent the gender to a local baker who put a layer of blue frosting into a cake that they then cut and served at the party. They didn’t know themselves until they cut up the cake. How fun. Sadly Tash and I couldn’t go to the party because we were shooting Joel and Lauren’s Wedding.
I think it is OK to announce that it is a boy. How fun. I have shot for Lacey before. I did all of the photos on her website.
