Dave and Brianna tied the knot at the Point Defiance Pagoda in Tacoma, WA. I was so honored to be a part of their lovely story. Dave and Brianna were so sweet together. Their personal stories both include the loss of a parent, and it was touching to see how they incorporated them into their wedding day. The venue itself is very cool. I love the feel to the building as well as the surrounding terrace, perfect for a warm weather cocktail hour. The surrounding gardens and waterfront provided awesome backdrops for their portraits. Brianna wore a total knockout of a dress. I loved it, it looked magnificent on her. Dave wore his formal Navy dress suit which was awesome. Overall a total classy couple!

Cool hurricane vase with “message pebbles”
The pagoda is long and narrow with a high vaulted ceiling. Makes for an intimate setting.

A baby deer visited us during the ceremony. One of the guests call the deer the “spirit of the bride’s passed mother”. 
I absolutely LOVE this capture. 
Bride and groom danced right after their entrance. 
We almost set the place on fire. Literally. Thanks DJ Tony Schwartz and Wedding Planner Rebecca Grant for putting out the fire while I took photos. 
This rose arch at Point Defiance Park is amazing. I love it!
