Salish Lodge Elopement Wedding
Seattle Photographer: John Crozier
Couple: Gary and Meaghan
What a wonderful experience getting to photograph Gary and Meaghan get married at the beautiful Salish Lodge. I am really digging these small intimate weddings. It seems to me that having fewer people allows the couple to really spend more time with the people they love the most. Both Gary and Meaghan are from out of state and I love that they brought some of their home with them. I loved their “Bean Boots” and wore them for some of their portraits together. The falls were as high as I’d ever seen them, spewing mist everywhere. The dramatic view from the Cliffside Room at Salish is such a cool backdrop to this ceremony location and makes for some dramatic portraits. We also had the time to wander into town to shoot around the train station in Downtown Snoqualmie. To finish off my time with them lunch was served in a very nicely decorated Cliffside room. Here are some of my favorite images.
The view from the balcony in the cliffside room. Truly impressive. I love the mist and the fog.
Meaghan had a beaming infectious smile. I love the pinecone in her bouquet. Dad tears are the best tears. Bean Boots. Gary waits to see his Bride for the first time. OMG. LOLNot one pair but two pairs. Love the tucked in look 🙂The train station has some definite ambiance to it. Puddles are cool sometime. I love a good reflection shot. I love Meaghan’s hair.Maybe my favorite shot from their portrait session. The only spot we could get a shot of the falls without getting doused in mist. This is the highest I have seen the falls. Seriously awe inspiring. Some nice candids as dad prepares to give his daughter away. Salish did a great job flipping the room and making it classy. Cheers to a great couple. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day.
