I love destination weddings! Tash, Canon and I got to fly down to photograph the wedding of my 2nd cousin Johanna and her groom Titus. This wedding was so fun. As a Seattle wedding photographer I don’t often get to shoot in 102 degree weather! Wow, what a scorcher. Luckily the venue was well shaded and provided great outdoor locations as well as awesome light to work with.
Johanna and Titus were such an awesome couple who showed immense respect for both each other and their parents. I was moved by all of the emotions and love that was displayed all day. They did something that I haven’t seen done before at a wedding. A hymn sing! That really brought back a lot of memories from when I was younger. It was so cool hearing all of those great old tunes sung by the guests.
Another highlight was getting to shoot in and around their get-away car. It was a 1934 Oldsmobile. It was really totally pristine, they don’t make em like they used to.
To wrap up the night we hit up the Sundial bridge. It is a pretty famous landmark, and it turned out really well.
I felt privileged to be a part of this joyous day. Check out the slideshow at the bottom of this post.
