This Chambers bay golf course wedding was one for the ages. Every now and again I shoot a wedding and know from the first shutter that it is going to be a good one. This was one heck of a fun day. I can’t remember a wedding with more detail and special touches than this affair. Where to begin. We had hunting coolers full of German beer, custom engraved copper bridesmaids gifts, three dresses, a Rolls Royce a cajun band, and of course a beautiful and handsome bride and groom. I didn’t get to meet Danielle and Paul until their wedding day however they were so laid back I had a blast getting to know them and shooting them. Rebecca Grant of New Creations Wedding ran the show beautifully, I always love working with other amazing wedding professionals. The design of this wedding was absolutely gorgeous from the place settings, to the lighting it was amazing. They used Annie Wright School for their Ceremony venue. I haven’t shot here before but it was a great photo location. The sanctuary was elegant and beautiful. The Courtyard outside was gorgeous and had great light. Really though it all came down to how fun it was to work with Danielle and Paul. It was so easy to keep the shoot light, free flowing, and playful. There was much laughter which I really enjoyed (Paul is basically a big kid!).
I’d love to give a shout out to some new buddies from Anchored Memories. Bobby did some really amazing video work on this wedding day. You can see Bobby’s work from their wedding here. I won’t say I’m not jealous, but Bobby uses a drone in some of his shots to get some pretty spectacular angles and views. Let’s just say I just found a new referral for favorite video guy.
