Seattle Wedding Photography

This was such a fantastic wedding. So many cool stories to tell from this wedding day. Where to begin. This is Seattle Wedding Photography at its finest.

The dress! The dress is a third generation dress worn by Shannon’s Mother and Grandmother. When Shannon told me about this dress I had no idea what to expect. I knew it had to be special though and it didn’t disappoint. I believe I heard them referring to it as “Cupcake”. Probably the first time I have heard a dress been given a name. These type of details make Seattle wedding photography fun.

The Venue: I love the Center for Urban Horticulture. It really lends itself well to my style, as well as Shannon and Michael’s. The courtyard is and amazing place to mingle during cocktail hour, and the glass arboretum is a great dance hall. CUH is a Seattle wedding photographer’s dream.

The Couple: My favorite thing about this wedding was. They decided to have a Seattle wedding even though they are living in Chicago. Not hard to understand considering they both went to UW (go Huskies!). These guys were up for anything to get awesome wedding photography. I can’t think of a more memorable day with a couple. We had fun at Uvillage. We had fun getting booted out of Uvillage. Shannon and Michael posed in the grass with the grasshoppers, who took up residence in Shannon’s dress. And last but not least we tromped through a nice patch of trees that ended up being a minefield of low lying blackberry vines. They had fun, and it truly showed on their pictures.

Thanks guys for making this such an awesome wedding day. I can’t wait to show you guys all your pictures.
