Last Saturday my brother Scott and I got to photograph the wedding of Brian and Kira. The wedding took place at the amazing Treehouse Point in Issaquah, WA. This place ranks up there in my list of favorite places to shoot. The light at this venue was challenging and awesome. Shooting in the forest can be pretty difficult but I really think that we pulled it off nicely. Kira and Brian were absolutely easy to work with. Brian, being from Texas, brought some nice touches into the event. I particularly loved his Cayman boots. The wedding was absolutely beautiful in every way. I really enjoyed working with my brother Scott. Scott is a film major at Azusa Pacific University so we got to “nerd it up” all day while shooting. I really loved the time we got to spend just with Brian and Kira right after the ceremony. We wandered through the forest grabbing some excellent shots. However the best light was actually down by the river that runs through the property. The light was simply glowing and we took advantage of it. What a cool place, I hope to do many more weddings here.
